Nigerian Clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleiman sues Actress, Halima Abubakar for 1 Billion Naira.
This is coming after Apostle Suleiman filed a lawsuit against her last year.
The Apostle and the actress have been in the news over romantic relationship allegations by the actress.
Halima had admitted that she had an affair with the preacher because he told her he was divorced with three children.
The allegation led Suleiman to file a lawsuit against Halima, accusing her of defamation, blackmail, and publishing demeaning statements about him.
A part of the lawsuit
A part of the suit reads, “It is our brief that you caused to be published malicious, defamatory, and demeaning statements about our client in several micro-blog sites, chiefly Gistlover, and your Instagram handle Halima
These statements, made by you, knowing fully well that they are false, untrue, malicious, defamatory, baseless, and a tool of blackmail of our client, impugn the reputation of our client and reduce him in the eyes of responsible and right thinking members of the society.”
However, Halima on her part, reacted on her Instagram page that she will meet the man of God in court.
She wrote, ”JS, See you at the court.”

Moreover, it seems the man of God has not gotten over the defamation and lawsuit as he progresses with a demand of ₦1Billion.
Progressing with the court case, Apostle Johnson Suleiman has demanded 1 Billion Naira in compensation from the actress for defamation and blackmail.
The Kogi-state actress had made heavy allegations which she claimed happened eleven years ago.
Halima disclosed that the had engaged her, held a wedding introduction with her, and had three abortions for him.
Furthermore, Halima’s family accused the clergyman of being a fetish as they claimed he is the cause of the actress illness.
At the moment, Halima is indisposed and in the care of her family and loved ones.
