Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth dissolves marriage with his wife.
One of Nigeria’s finest comedian and media personality has dissolved his 12 years of marriage with his wife- Elsie Uzoma Okpocha.
The 44-year-old comedian took to his Instagram page to announce his divorce from his wife.
Basketmouth disclosed that he and his wife have made deliberations on the issue and have taken the decision to end their marriage.
In a post with he captioned “for the first and the last time”, he wrote;
As much as it pains me to bring my personal life in the public space. This is an unavoidable situation.
After much deliberation, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, the guidance and support they need.
We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times.

Basket mouth has been married to his wife since 2010 and they both have three children.
He seems to have turned off the comment section as no comment was sent on the page. The post has over 34,805 likes on Instagram already.
