Basketmouth can be counted as one of the most popular Nigerian comedians who has made waves in the entertainment industry. He is a not only a comedian but has made names for himself as an actor, TV presenter, producer and Master of Ceremony.

He had his primary and secondary school education at Apapa, Lagos State. And his University degree at University of Benin where he studied Anthropology and Sociology.
Basketmouth experienced a career breakthrough as a comedian in 2001 when he met Alibaba as an undergraduate in University of Benin. And since then, has grown to become a veteran in the industry.

Marital status
Basketmouth got married to his girlfriend, Elsie who he met at University of Lagos where he had gone to promote his show. They later got married on Saturday, 6 November 2010 at Giwa Barracks in Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos and they both have three children.
However, Basketmouth shook the internet as he announced his separation with his wife on 22 December 2022 via his Instagram page.
