Five people reportedly shot at Jerusalem Synagogue
At least, five people have been reported dead from the shooting in East Jerusalem while others were injured.
Even Israeli emergency service personnel and security forces attended the scene. Israel’s ambulance service reported 10 casualties in total, some of them seriously wounded.
The incident happened in the city’s Neve Yaakov neighborhood at around 20:15 local time (18:15 GMT).
Also, a local media report has it that the suspect was killed by security forces as he attempted to flee the scene.
The attack is reportedly one of the deadliest attacks on Israelis in years. One of the wounded victims included a 70-year-old in critical condition, the medical service added.

Furthermore, The United States has condemned the attack. Vedanta Patel, a spokesperson for the state department, said that they stand in solidarity with the Israeli people, and condemned the gruesome assault as an “apparent terrorist attack.”
Again, tensions have been high since Thursday when nine Palestinians – both militants and civilians – were killed during an Israeli military raid in Jenin.
In addition, Officers reported that the gunman opened fire at a group of Israelis in the neighborhood, and was waiting for them outside the synagogue as they came out.
The killings took place a day after Israeli troops killed nine Palestinians in the deadliest West Bank raid in years.
The clash between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters emanated after the funeral for a 22-year-old north of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank on Friday.
