INEC Officials absent from Tinubu’s polling unit
 

The election has begun in some areas but not for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu’s polling unit, Polling Unit 085, Ward 3, Sunday Adigun, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.

It was noticed that, as of 9:00 a.m., INEC officials were yet to arrive. Observers, police personnel, journalists, and the Ikeja Local Government Chairman, Mojid Balogun, expressed concern over the late arrival of the INEC officials.

The reason why the INEC officials are delaying is unknown as Tinubu is expected to vote in this particular ward. It is expected that all candidates vote at their respective polling units.

The electoral officials have been late might have an adverse effect on the election process as voting stops by 2:00 pm.
