Federal Government cannot do anything right- Sowore 

 

Omoyele Sowore The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has slammed the ‘Nigerian state’ over the organization and process of the 2023 presidential and national assembly elections.

Sowore has not gotten so many votes in different polling units in Nigeria except in his local government area.

As results of the Presidential election begins to drop from different areas in the country, Sowore took to his Twitter handle to write;

The Nigerian state cannot do anything right – no capacity to conduct elections, no capacity to run an economy, no capacity to run educational institutions, no capacity to do anything right. Now you know! #RevolutionNow #WeCantContinueLikeThis.

For him, the Government cannot conduct Elections, run the economy, run educational institutions, or do anything right.

He goes further to call for a revolution on his Twitter handle.

Furthermore, Sowore first ran as a Presidential Candidate in the 2019 presidential election but did not receive many votes, and he did the same 2023 presidential election.

However, he won in his local government, Ondo State’s Ese-Odo Local Government Area, particularly in Polling Unit 14, Aaron Quarter, Ese Odo LGA, where he defeated all the major contenders.

Meanwhile, Sowore received 53 votes in the said polling unit, two votes more than the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and eight votes more than the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
