Man Utd joins Chelsea and PSG in the battle for Victor Osimhen

Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain battle for Napoli Striker- Victor Osimhen.

The striker is wanted this summer by Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, while Liverpool is also facing their own war as they turn their attention to the French International Striker- Marcus Thuram.

According to The Sun, Manchester United and Chelsea are both keen on signing the striker and may have to out-spend Paris Saint-Germain to get Victor Osimhen.

Furthermore, Victor is set to become one of the most demanding players in the next transfer window. His 24 goals in 16 Serie A games have sent him to the top of the table.

A report has it that Manchester United and Chelsea would be prepared to break the British transfer record of £107M they have just set for Enzo Fernandez in order to land Osimhen.

 

The Italian giants don’t want to lose their star man but are confident of generating a high-stakes auction for a player who will have two years left on his contract in the summer.”

In addition, Victor Osimhen is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, but will not be available for cheap.

When Napoli signed the Nigerian International striker, they paid around £70 Million from Lille In 2020, and are reportedly looking to receive at least £100 Million from him.

The Naples outfit has only been champions of Italy twice in their history with their last league title coming in the Diego Maradona days back in 1990.
