Supplementary elections will hold after Governorship elections- INEC

 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will conduct supplementary polls after the governorship and state house of assembly elections.

The governorship and state house of assembly polls will be held next weekend on March 11.

Furthermore, INEC says it is aware that in some federal constituencies and senatorial districts, declarations and returns were not made.

Also, INEC’s National Commissioner, Festus Okoye, has promised that the date for supplementary elections will be fixed after the governorship and state assembly elections.

He also reiterated that INEC will conduct the rescheduled elections in Enugu and Edo States on March 11, 2023, along with the governorship and state assembly elections.
