Voting materials arrive late in Benin as voting starts behind schedule

Most polling units in Benin City, Edo State, have complained of the late arrival of voting materials. The electorates waited patiently at the polling units, although this will lead to the late commencement of the voting exercise.

Furthermore, polling units around Ring Road revealed that the officials were not at the polling units at 8:30 a.m. In other polling units, materials arrived at Oredo Ward 12 by 9.33 a.m.

This is appalling as time is of utmost importance in this election.
