NSCDC conveying election materials to Lagos crashes in Abuja
NSCDC- Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps vehicle conveying election materials from Abuja to Lagos crashed on Friday evening, election eve.
Before the ugly occurrence, the vehicle was meant to take materials needed for election from Abuja down to Lagos.
The vehicle was also carrying operatives of the NSCDC when the incident occured around the Giri Roundabout bridge in Abuja.

An eyewitness who spoke in a video reported that some of the Passengers were injured, adding that one of them sustained a head injury.
However, he also added that some senior officials of the NSCDC were moved to a different location.
According to him, “When the accident happened the people at the back hit the wood and one person in front had a cut on the head. I don’t know if he will be able to survive.”
As at the time of filling this report it was unclear whether there were any casualties or not.
Also, a viral video released in the internet, showed people rendering help in picking the papers suspected to be election materials littered on the ground as a result of the accident.
